Terms of Service
Last updated June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ifasto website and queue service (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What ifasto is
ifasto provides technology that lets restaurants manage their waiting queue and offer an optional paid “skip pass.” ifasto is a technology provider only. The restaurant — not ifasto — is the seller and merchant of record for any skip pass. ifasto does not collect or hold your payment.
Operating entity: [LEGAL ENTITY NAME — to be completed on incorporation].
2. What a skip pass is — and isn’t
A skip pass gives your party a higher-priority position in a restaurant’s queue at the time of purchase. It is not a reservation, and it is nota guarantee of a specific seating time. Actual wait times are estimates and depend on the restaurant’s capacity, table turnover, and other parties in the queue.
You must be physically present at the venue to be seated. The restaurant confirms your party at the door and remains responsible for seating decisions, food, drink, and the in-venue experience.
3. Payments, refunds, and cancellations
Skip-pass payments are made directly to the restaurant through the restaurant’s payment provider. The price of a skip pass is set dynamically and shown to you before you pay. Your meal, drinks, and any other charges are billed separately by the restaurant.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by the selling restaurant’s policy and its disclosures under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions (特定商取引法). Because the restaurant is the merchant of record, please direct refund and cancellation requests for a skip pass to the restaurant. ifasto can help facilitate communication but is not a party to that transaction.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;

7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ifasto will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any matter relating to a restaurant’s seating decisions, food, drink, service, or refunds. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
