Cruise ships & ferries

Every line on board, priced at the moment it forms.

Thousands of guests share a handful of theatre doors, buffets and gangways. Almost every paid priority product at sea today is a package bought before sailing. ifasto sells a small, capped number of passes at the line itself, priced from its real length, and the free line always keeps moving.

Where the lines form

The queues guests already stand in.

Theatre doors before a show

Seats fill from the front as the doors open. A pass lets a few guests walk in without arriving long before the show.

The buffet at its peak

Breakfast and dinner rushes, when the line for a table is longer than the meal.

Restaurant walk-ins

Specialty restaurants and bars that take walk-ins and turn people away at peak.

Tender boarding at port calls

The morning rush for the first tenders ashore, and the queue to return.

Boarding and disembarkation

Foot-passenger boarding and the order guests leave the ship on the last morning.

Guest services and excursion desks

The desks everyone visits on the first evening and the last.

What is never sold

Safety drills, the medical centre, immigration, security and vehicle-deck loading are never priced and never affected. Those points stay first come, first served for everyone.

How it works on board

A pass at the line, not a package before the cruise.

  1. 01

A QR code at the line

Guests scan it with their phone at the theatre door, the buffet or the tender lounge.

  2. 02

    Priced from the real line

The engine estimates the wait from the live queue and sets the price inside the floor and ceiling the line chooses.

  3. 03

    Capped so the line moves

A fixed number of passes per show, sitting or tender. When the cap is reached, the pass disappears.

  4. 04

    Existing perks stay untouched

Priority that suite and loyalty guests already receive stays exactly as it is. The pass is an extra choice for everyone else.

  5. 05

    Shared with the line

No fee and no hardware. The cruise line keeps the larger share of every pass sold.

The rules we never break

Fair to every guest on board.

The free line always stays

A pass moves a guest forward; it never closes a queue to anyone else, and the cap keeps it moving.

Guests with disabilities go free

Anyone who needs priority receives it free of charge, as they do today.

The price is locked and shown all-in

Guests see the full price before they pay, and it does not change after checkout.

Safety and border points are off limits

Musters, medical, immigration, security and vehicle loading are never part of the product.

How to start

Start with a free shadow sailing.

One sailing on which we measure every queue on board and sell nothing. We observe and time each queue point through the voyage and change nothing guests see. Your team keeps the wait data for every line, by hour and by port day. If the numbers make sense, we agree a small, capped pilot.

  • No cost to the cruise line or ferry operator
  • No access to your systems needed for the shadow sailing
  • The wait data for every queue point is yours to keep
  • Works for overnight ferries as well as cruise ships

Questions cruise and ferry teams ask

Does this replace our priority packages?

No. Packages bought before the cruise stay as they are. ifasto adds a choice at the moment of the wait, capped so it never crowds out existing perks.

How is the pass paid for on board?

By card in the browser, with no app. Charging to the onboard account can be added later if the line wants it.

What about ferries?

Large day and overnight ferries have the same restaurant, desk and foot-passenger queues. Vehicle-deck loading is never priced.

Who sets the limits?

The line does: which queue points take part, the floor and ceiling prices, and how many passes each show, sitting or tender can sell.
